Student communications

Throughout the year you will receive various communications via text, email, Portal and Unilearn announcements, on plasma screens, by post or through poster campaigns.

Opting in to receive text messages via MyDetails

  1. Log in to MyDetails using your standard University username and password.
  2. Click on "View / change registration preferences" from the "Personal Details" section

  3. On the "My Registration Preferences" screen check that the option for "Receive alerts by text" is set to "Yes". This will ensure you get any text messages regarding cancelled classes.

  4. Please check that your mobile number is up to date by clicking either "Update Termtime Address" or "Update Home Address" from the "Personal Details" section.
