The Guidance Team offer advice and guidance to all students in the School of Computing and Engineering. We are here to help you get the best out of your time at University.
We can support you to develop academic study skills and personal and professional skills that will benefit you now as a student as well as in the future.
We offer confidential appointments and can talk to you about how to manage your studies if personal issues affect your ability to study.

We work closely with central Student Services and external services and may refer you on if appropriate.
Disability support
We are the School’s Disability Co-ordinators. If you think you need additional arrangements, speak to us about the support available to students with a disability.

We arrange specific support for International Students and offer you advice and guidance on settling in to life in the UK and Huddersfield.
