Prof. Steve Donnelly - Dean

Professor Steve Donnelly joined the School from the University of Salford in early 2011 to take up the post of Head of Engineering and Technology and has most recently been appointed as Dean in April 2012. Steve's research revolves around the interaction of energy particles with matter; an area that has relevance to materials for space, the semiconductor industry and particularly to the nuclear industry because it will help decide the materials used for the construction of the next generation of reactors.

Prof Richard Hill - Head of Informatics

Prof Ian Glover - Head of Engineering and Technology

Ian Glover is Professor of Radio Physics and Wireless Systems Engineering and Head of the Department of Engineering and Technology at the University of Huddersfield, UK, and Visiting Professor of Radio Science at the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Brazil. He graduated with BEng and PhD degrees from the University of Bradford and has held senior academic posts at the Universities of Bradford, Bath and Strathclyde (all in the UK).

Ian is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the IET and IEEE, and a Fellow of the Academy of Higher Education.
