Computing laboratories
Opening Hours
These laboratories are open between 8:00am and 9:00pm (Monday to Friday) during term time. In the holidays you should still be able to find space to work although some rooms will be closed for maintenance and the building itself may be shut a little earlier (around 6PM). Most laboratories are not directly accessible at weekends or bank holidays. All buildings are closed and inaccessible to all when the University closes between Christmas and the New Year
Finding a free workstation
Most of the rooms are open access and available for any of our students to use when there are no timetabled classes. If there is a class in progress it may be possible to work quietly at a spare workstation but ask the academic in charge for permission first.
