University Software

Members of staff are able to install some University software on their own computers or portable devices.  This includes Adobe CC, Office and Matlab.  In some cases there may be a small charge.

Unidesktop

UniDesktop is a service that enables you to use a range of University software on your own desktop, laptop or tablet device either while you are away from the University, or when using the wireless network on campus.  The “Staff Desktop” option is particularly useful, giving you access to a virtual desktop with all your usual drives [K, L, M etc] and lots of useful software.

Microsoft Dreamspark Premium

Staff and students can access Windows 7, 8 and 10 as well as products such as Visual Studio through the Schools Dreamspark Premium account.  NOTE: MS Office is not available through Dreamspark only via the Webshop above, or, for students, via their Office 365 email accounts
